Consolidated in Notion from the GlobalConsult Recruitment System Implementation Confluence space.
GlobalConsult was founded in 2000 as a boutique consulting firm specialising in business strategy, digital transformation, and analytics. It has grown into a global enterprise with over 15,000 employees in more than 25 countries, and has been a trusted partner for Fortune 500 companies.
GlobalConsult's recruitment process is entirely manual and email-based, resulting in an average time-to-hire of 45–60 days — significantly longer than industry benchmarks. Recruiters manually review 150–200 CVs per vacancy with no standardised scoring criteria, interview scheduling takes 5–7 days due to email back-and-forth, and candidate feedback can take up to 10 days to collect. Applicants who are rejected after screening, after interviews, or who decline an offer often receive no response — a practice commonly known as "ghosting."
GlobalConsult requires an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that automates job posting, AI-powered candidate screening, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer management, with defined, timely responses at every decision point in the hiring journey.
The current (As-Is) process was mapped across 4 swim lanes (Hiring Manager, HR/Recruiter, Candidates, IT+Operations) with 12 steps and 4 decision gateways — all lacking a defined response, resulting in candidates being "ghosted" at every rejection point.
The future-state (To-Be) process introduces full automation via an ATS, adding 5 decision gateways where every "No" path now has a defined, SLA-driven response (e.g. automated rejection emails within 24 hours).
